PMC611
Description
PMC611 is a high-performance and cost-effective PC-based 4-axis motion controller. With hardware-based interpolations, PMC611 has a better performance and is more reliable compared with controllers-based software interpolations. Fast and easy-to-configure connectivity enables it to control up to 4 servo or stepper axes with output frequency up to 5 MHz, 4 encoder inputs, 28 digital inputs, and 24 digital outputs.
Linear, Circular and Continuous Interpolation
PMC611 is characterized by operating trapezium and S-curve velocity profiles, high-speed linear & circular interpolations. PMC611 offers linear interpolation for any 2, 3 or 4 axes, and circular interpolation for any 2 axes. It also supports continuous interpolation with velocity continuity in multi-axis operation.
Position and Speed Adaptable on the Fly
In single axis operation, position and speed on the fly are adaptable to achieve complicated velocity profile. With on-board FIFO, PMC611 can perform precise and extremely fast position latching and position comparison, and enact functions without consuming CPU resource.
Simultaneous Start and Stop
After adopting combination of two or more PMC611 controllers, it is feasible for simultaneous start and stop control on all concerned axes.
